Wear A+ is available in one size only, with an adjustable strap that makes it easy to alter the distance between the user’s face and the device, meaning it can be comfortably worn by people of various heights and body types. We do not recommend Wear A+ for children under 13 years of age.

Respiray Wear A+ does create a light breeze around the face, but as long as you don’t suffer from dry eye syndrome or Sjögren’s syndrome it shouldn’t cause you any problems. If you suffer from one of these conditions, we advise you to consult with your doctor first.

No, unfortunately you cannot use Respiray Wear A+ if you have a pacemaker because the device has a strap with a magnetic closure that may interfere with the pacemaker’s operation.

No, Wear A+ does not use wireless technology like Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, so in this regard it is definitely much safer than many other devices. The device does contain electronic components but these have been tested against the required electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and the results were well within the permitted levels. The materials used to build the device are also safe – they have been tested according to the European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards.

Yes, Respiray Wear A+ can be worn safely on airplanes. However, it may be slightly less effective than in a normal indoor environment as airplane ventilation systems are powerful enough to create air movement, which could potentially affect the allergen-free air zone created by the device.

Yes, the HEPA 12 filter used in Respiray Wear A+ is very effective at filtering virus particles. It can be used as another layer of protection against Covid-19.

Respiray Wear A+ comes with two replaceable HEPA filters. Each filter lasts for 200 working hours.  
The filter replacement indicator led on the device shows when it’s time to change the filter.

We have two color options for the Respiray Wear A+ – light and dark.

Yes, we have done both clinical trials and real-life tests to see how well the device works. The chairman of the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF), Karl-Christian Bergmann, commented: “Our clinic trials showed that Respiray Wear A+ offers very high protection on days with high pollen load in the air. We need good air to have good health – it’s really that simple.”

We have also conducted laboratory testing for the filters used in Respiray Wear A+ at SGS Michigan, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company. All of the tests proved that Wear A+ is highly effective in removing allergens from the area around the user’s face.

Yes, Respiray Wear A+ has been tested by more than 200 participants, and the test results showed that it helped 90% of people to overcome or reduce their airborne allergic reactions. Respiray Wear A+ has also been clinically tested with real people at the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF). The test results showed that wearing Respiray Wear A+ leads to a significant reduction in nasal and conjunctival symptoms in subjects with allergic rhino-conjunctivitis caused by pollen.

Yes, Respiray Wear A+ provides effective protection from dander from pets including cats, dogs, rabbits and rats. 200 people tested the device at their homes, with 9 out of 10 saying that Wear A+ helped them. Respiray Wear A+ was tested at SGS Michigan with a 50/50 allergen mix of dander from dogs (Canis familiaris) and dust mites (Dermatophagoides farinae). It was >99.9% effective at filtering those allergens.

Yes, Wear A+ helps to prevent allergic asthma caused by airborne allergens like pollen, pet dander and dust mites. Around 80% of people with asthma also have allergies. However, Respiray Wear A+ does NOT protect against “exercise-induced” asthma or non-allergic asthma.

Respiray Wear A+ is super light. It weighs just 8 oz (250 g), similar to many cell phones. It is wonderfully comfortable to wear thanks to its ergonomic design. When 200 participants tested Wear A+, only 3 people reported that it made their eyes dry, and only 2 reported that the device is heavy to wear. Most people were positively surprised by how comfortable it is and how lightweight the device actually feels.

Respiray Wear A+ is most effective in non-windy conditions. The device is most effective indoors, but it also works outdoors when there is no wind. Respiray Wear A+ is not meant to be used while sleeping.  

Wear A+ is charged with a USB-C cable that is provided with the product. USB-C is widely used for charging mobile phones and laptops.  

Wear A+ is battery-powered and charged with a USB-C cable. The device lasts for 8 hours on a full charge.
